Subject: "old boy" keeping in touch!

Dear Edward, how are you?
I trust that you and the family are well?
When i last visited the school, i saw that the old french block was being replaced with a new building... and had heard that you had in fact only just recently returned from a cycle trip/ marathon... across Egypt i thought (although i could be wrong and misheard!). That sounds very interesting, im sure you managed to take plenty of photos?
I was browsing the web and thought to look up the school to see if the web came up with anything... it certainly did! The website looks great, and is marvellous for providing a link back to the school for old boys! Im glad to hear "Mr. B" is still involved with school life and that all the new children are picking up his nickname- wouldnt be the same without him! :-)

I must say i was a little confused when i looked through the Alumni page, because it seemed to be saying that people from my year had "graduated" at the same time as people from my brothers year and those in the year above me...lol...i probably misread it though.

I would love to know when there are going to be events at the prep...plays, concerts, etc. Being up here in Aberystwyth doesnt help things much...about 6 hrs drive back home...but it would still be interesting to know for when i come home during the holidays! i shall enclose my e-mail address below, but im sure my family would be very interested also!

Just thought id make contact and say hello, and let you know how things are going... studying Drama and English Literature and taking up fencing as a hobby... and keeping in touch! :-) i think most people find themselves drawn back to the prep.. which is a good thing as one should never forget their childhood.

Take care and best wishes to the family and to all the staff who still remember me! lol.
Yours Sincerely,
Robert Cook.
